Worship & Arts Ministry
Membership & Evangelism
Shares the gospel of Jesus Christ and encourages believers in their faith. Through the vehicle of music for worship service and other programs.
The Membership & Evangelism Ministry welcomes the New Members to the Church. They capture pertinent data for church records and reporting.
Children's Ministry
The primary mission is to disciple young people in Christian growth through study, worship, fellowship, leadership, and service for children.
Production Team
This ministry helps set up equipment and other items as needed to provide support to the church.
Children & Youth Fellowship
Teaches the young people about Christian living. Provides Christian service to the community and discusses and solves personal and social problems in light of the life and teachings of Christ.
The Children & Youth Choir
This ministry is comprised of children & youth ages 4 through 17 and they provide singing on 4th Sundays, Easter, and Christmas Programs.
The Alcolytes
The Acolytes assist the Pastor and Ministerial Staff in the processional and recessional of church services. The Alcolytes are also sponsors of the 2nd Sunday bake sales.
Stewardess Board
To serve the Lord's table, the table of the poor, and the table of the ministry.
Repast Committee
The Caring Hearts Repast Committee coordinates and serves meals to bereaved family members of Butler Street C.M.E. Church and their friends following the funeral of a Butler Street Church member.
Board of Christian Education
Promotes christian nurturing of the church, organizes and administers educational materals and activities, develops educational programs, and conducts Vacation Bible School.
Media Ministry
Usher Boards
The Media Ministry carries the Gospel of Jesus Christ visually by using technology and media. This ministry effectively communicates information to the in-house and online viewers.
Members of the church congregation who help ensure a smooth-running service by greeting people, directing them to seating, and maintaining order.
Missionary Society
Le Centre Cercle
Facilitates fellowship and promote growth. The club sponsors the scholarship fund, the seniors’ thanksgiving dinner, the seniors’ spring fling, Le Centre Café the Gentlemen’s Cook-off as well as other projects.
Death & Obituary Ministry
This ministry contacts family members who have lost loved ones in recent days by sending our love and prayers to bereaved families.

Pastor's Aide Board
The Ministry to Men is responsible for developing and promoting an effective Christian ministry by men throughout the church.
Assists the Pastor as needed and coordinates pastor appreciations events.
Sunday School
Young at Hearts' Ministry
Missionary Society is a group of women and men who strive to share the belief in spiritual growth. We accomplish this belief by showing acts of kindness within our church and in our communities. We also support programs in countries in Africa, Ghana and Haiti.
This ministry provides morning prayer, reading, playtime and snacks for children from ages 1-4.
The main purpose of the Sunday School is to promote healthy experiences through teaching the word of God as a way to better understand how to live a christian life.
The Young at Hearts' Ministry is designed to connect with and enrich the lives of all "seasoned" adult members aged 55 and older. The ministry encourages them to engage and participate in activities that foster spiritual growth, good health, outreach and wholesome fellowship. It also offers the opportunity to build a strong intergenerational connection within our church.
